Gujarat colleges get vacation from May 1 to June 5
The Gujarat government has announced vacation for all universities and colleges in the state from May 1 to June 5 amid the prevailing Covid-19 situation.The decision comes after concerns were raised by students and faculty members against the instruction to staff and faculty members to report for work at colleges and universities. “Usually the summer vacation is for 45 days but this time due to Covid-19, the period has been shortened to ensure that students start their new academic year on time,” said a source.
