About GATE 2022
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering aka GATE is conducted at the national level in India which importantly tests the comprehension (understanding) of various engineering and science undergraduate subjects.
This exam is regulated and conducted by IISc (Indian Institute of Science), Seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) at IIT Roorkee, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Bombay on behalf of National Coordination Board-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India in eight zones across the country.
Started first in 1983, now GATE is internationally open to a few countries too.

GATE Exam is a 100 marks paper which consist of 65 questions which must be solved within a time limit of 3 hours.

Documents Required
How to Enroll ?
- Register: Candidates have to register through GOAPS portal by entering their name, email ID and mobile number.
- Fill Application Form: Login and enter all the necessary details like personal, details and selection of GATE paper and exam centres as per the preference is to be done.
- Upload Scanned Images: The photograph, signature and category certificate (if applicable) is to be scanned and uploaded as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.
- Payment of Application Fees: To complete the application process of GATE exam, payment of the application fee as per the category one belongs to in online mode i.e., net banking/debit card/credit card was to be made.
- Submit Application Form: After completing the above given steps, review and submit the application form.
