SRM University, Sonepat, also referred to as SRMU, is a private university that is a part of the SRM Group of Institutions. SRMU was established under the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2013. The group also includes other state universities: SRM University-Sikkim and SRM University-Amravati in addition to SRM Institute of Science and Technology, which is a deemed university headquartered in Chennai.
